The leak policy defines Megami Tensei Wiki's stance toward leaked or rumored content.

General

In simple terms, Megami Tensei Wiki will not cover any leaked or rumored content, including any information that was mistakenly leaked by Atlus, Sega, or other companies involved.

This is largely out of respect to the companies involved, as well as to avoid covering any potential misinformation (should a leak or rumor turn out to be false). Until the content has been officially announced or released, the wiki will not cover any information on it and any attempts to will be reverted. As an extra measure to prevent leaked or rumored content from making its way onto the wiki, certain pages may be protected by members of staff from being edited or created. These pages will be unprotected once the content has been officially announced, released, or disproven.

Live Service Games

Live service games are those that are continually updated with new content on a continuing revenue model. At times, these games may have internal data added in preparation for a future release or update, but are as-of-yet unused in the actual game. Information about yet-unreleased content in live service games are considered a leak and, as such, should not be covered on the wiki until the content has actually released.

Presently, the current live service games that are in-service and are subject to this rule are:

• Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2
• Persona 5: The Phantom X

The only time internal data in a live service game may be considered cut content and can be freely covered is when the game has reached end-of-service and no longer receives new updates.
