Gameplay

Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2

Gate Core appears with a 20mm Machinegun and a Laser Cannon. It starts closed, which grants it immunity to Phys and Gun and resistance to Fire, Ice, Electric and Force. After 5 turns, it opens, increasing its vulnerability to Phys, Gun and elemental magic and exposing its weakness to Electric. On its next turn, it uses Flare Cannon, then closes the turn after that. Should one of the other Devices be destroyed, it will instead spend two turns closed. If both are destroyed, it will open permanently.
