Trivia

No reason provided.
  • Paulownia Mall is modeled after VenusFort [ja], a mall on the artificial island of Odaiba that closed in 2022.
  • The music that plays when using the Crane Machine in Persona 3 Reload is a remix of the theme of Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy.
  • The arcade game titled "House of the Deceased" in Persona 3 Reload may be a reference to The House of the Dead, a light-gun shooter game series by Sega.
  • Game Panic, the localized name of Game Parade in earlier releases of Persona 3, appears to be named after Atlus's real life amusement center chain "Game Panic", now owned by Leisurelan.

Nomenclature

The name of the mall comes from the first character of the Kirijo family name, 桐 kiri, which means "paulownia".[1]

Notes

  1. Game Parade is the name used in the Japanese versions of all releases. Localized versions of Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, and the PSP version of Persona 3 Portable changed it to Game Panic. However, the name Game Parade was restored in the HD re-release of Persona 3 Portable and in Persona 3 Reload.
