"An Important Rendezvous" is a Quest in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Overview
This quest is registered by Burroughs after Flynn and the other prentices receive a message from Hugo telling them to report to Shene Duque, following the events in the Reverse Hills building.
The path to Shene Duque is outside Mikado Castle, in the Castle City. There, the prentices are greeted by Gabby, who ushers them into a large Cocoon. She states that she would like to introduce them to the new leaders of the kingdom, at which point Michael, Uriel, and Raphael descend from above, and Gabby transforms into Gabriel. Michael thanks the prentices for their work at Shinjuku National Park, and the rest introduce themselves.
Gabriel explains that she was assigned by God to watch over the people as Sister Gabby, but as time passed, the people became warped. The four Heralds have cleansed the land of this corruption, and the people of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado will now pursue the "true Way" with them.
As Jonathan and Walter ponder what that means, Isabeau decides that this may be the perfect time to tell them about Fujiwara. Gabriel responds that the people trapped in Tokyo are tainted souls who were not chosen by the Lord and are forbidden from living in Mikado. If they enter the kingdom, then they will be eliminated. This angers Walter, but Gabriel repeats her previous order to kill the Black Samurai.
Outside, Jonathan suggests going to Tsukiji Hongwangji to strike down the Black Samurai, as ordered, but Walter, concluding that Mikado under the archangels will be no better than Tayama's utopia, declares that he's packing his things and going to meet Lilith, and that anyone who wishes to join him can meet him in the residence hall. Isabeau demurs as well, worried about Fujiwara and Skins. Jonathan vows to uphold his duties as a Samurai, and states that he will be waiting at the entrance to Naraku if Flynn wishes to join him.
After the prentices part ways, Burroughs marks the quest as completed.
