Aeon Genesis
Aeon Genesis are an unofficial fan translation group notable for translating games in the Megami Tensei franchise which had not been officially localized. The group was created by Gideon Zhi in 1999, who is the project leader and lead romhacker.
The first translation in the Megami Tensei franchise the group released was Another Bible on April 19, 2002,[1] followed by Shin Megami Tensei on 30 June, 2002,[2] and Shin Megami Tensei II on May 13, 2004.[3] These translations were released prior to the official western localization of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax on October 12, 2004, meaning that the names of various spells, races, demons and other terminology were inconsistent with that of the official localization. Addendum patches have also been created by other romhackers to make the terminology consistent with official localizations.
The group's most recent translation, in regard to the Megami Tensei series, was Shin Megami Tensei if... on October 25, 2018.[4]
