Sea Fishing
- Main article: Fishing
In order to fish at Shichiri Beach, the protagonist must first attempt to fish with his regular fishing rod only to get told it isn't good enough. Catch the Guardian, show it to the old man at the Samegawa Flood Plain, then talk to him about sea fishing. Doing so will grant the Deep-Sea Rod which can be used to fish at Shichiri Beach.

Swimming
Swimming can be done in any type of weather and consumes time. The protagonist can swim in the ocean to gain +3 Courage. During bad weather, he can gain either another +3 Courage or +3 Understanding instead.
Sea Gazing
The protagonist can gaze out at the sea, causing a Persona he has on-hand to learn its next skill without leveling up or gaining any EXP. If there are multiple Personas that have skills to be learned, then the one with the lowest level will be prioritized. If none of his Personas can learn skills, then time will pass without anything else happening.
