After completing the game once a set of indicators for all of the game's potential endings is added to that save file. Completing a given route on a new game cycle will fill its respective ending indicator on the file select screen. After selecting the completed save file on the file select screen, the player can start a new game with the following data carried over:

Upon starting a new cycle, the player is given the option to wear the Hooded Jacket (which gives Str +2 and Vit +1) or the Leather Jacket (which gives Mag +2 and Agi +1).
In the HD Remaster, a set of indicators for each of the game's potential endings is added to that save file. Completing a given route on a new game cycle will fill its respective ending indicator on the file select screen.<br>
A total of 7 ending indicators can be unlocked. 5 for completing the endings present in the original release, and 2 for completing the new ending in the Maniax and Chronicle editions with [[Dante]] and [[Raidou Kuzunoha XIV]] respectively.

After completing the game the save file icon turns pink and gains a lotus flower, which stays with the save when beginning New Game+. After selecting the completed save file on the file select screen, the player can start a new game with the following data carried over:

The player will also carry over any special items that were received through Confidant relationships, such as Christmas and Farewell Presents. Christmas Presents allow the player to quickly level up that present's associated Social Link as long as they have a Persona with the same Arcana. Farewell Presents allow that present's associated Social Link to learn some of their skills immediately upon restarting that Social Link in New Game+.

The player also unlocks a Special Art section in the Report menu, which allows them to view concept art of the game's characters, Personas, enemies, and locations.

Repaint Your Heart

After completing this DLC the player unlocks the following features:

  • Goro Akechi and Sumire Yoshizawa will become available as party members in the main story once the Phantom Thieves are reassembled midway through the first Kingdom.
  • New images of DLC exclusive characters and enemies are added to the Images and Special Art sections of the Report Screen in the main story.
  • Challenge stages have been added and are accessible from the DLC Mode's title screen.
