Polydeuces is a Persona in Persona 3. It is the Persona of Akihiko Sanada.
Profile
Origin
In Greek Mythology, Polydeuces is the twin brother of Castor, and together they were known as the Dioscuri or The Hero Twins. They both have the same mother, Leda, but have different fathers, Polydeuces's father is Zeus, while Castor's father was Tyndareus, a mortal man, hence Polydeuces is immortal, while Castor is mortal. During the death of Castor, not wanting to be seperated from his brother, Polydeuces asked Zeus to share his immortality to Castor and they were transformed into the Gemini constellation.
Design
Polydeuces has a muscular built, albeit with only the hands and feet being reduced in a smaller size compared to the rest of its body. Its face being half-hidden by its upper body, with its right arm being strapped in a gaunlet with a needle at the end. Polydeuces also wears a bulletproof vest on its body.
