Kouzeon is a Persona in Persona 4 Golden. It is the ultimate Persona of Rise Kujikawa.

Kouzeon is another name for the Bodhisattva Kannon which Kanzeon is also named after. Kouzeon is said to be an incorrect translation of Avalokiteśvara which uses the character for "light".

Design

Following the evolution of Kanzeon gaining more antennas than Himiko to show she is better at gathering information, Kouzeon instead has a telescope. The telescope has the character 観 on it which means look or view and is also the first character of Kannon and Kanzeon's names when written in kanji.

Gameplay

Persona 4 Golden

In Golden, Rise starts with Himiko. It transfigures into Kanzeon upon maxing her Social Link, and can further transfigure into Kouzeon during winter.
