Ruinedstego/Sandbox5 is the first expansion of the Shin Megami Tensei Card Game, published in 2003 by Media Factory.

Overview

Shin Megami Tensei Card Game: Nocturne Ver. is the first expansion of the Shin Megami Tensei Card Game. There's a total of 202 numbered cards, with an additional 21 special foil cards featuring alternate artwork for a total of 223 cards. Cards in this set are based on characters, demons, and other information from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.

Starter Limited Pack

The Starter Limited Pack[a] is a bundle containing one of three five-inch figures and a Starter Pack. The figured were supervised and co-designed by Kazuma Kaneko and were modeled after the Demi-fiend, Isamu Nitta, and Chiaki Tachibana. A fourth rare figure of the Demi-fiend was available in limited quantities as well.

The pack was priced at 2,000 yen and was only available during the first print of the set.[1] Boxes with all three figures were available for 6,000 yen and contained a bonus card at random.

Starter Pack

The Starter Pack[b] is a bundle containing 60 cards, a rulebook, a Magatsuhi board, a Kagutsuchi board, and 1 six-sided dice. Six cards were exclusive to the starter packs: the three energy cards N-199, N-200, or N-201, and the foil cards for the characters N-001, N-002, or N-003. One of the character cards were guaranteed in each starter, and 27 energy cards, 7 of each type, were included as well. The remaining cards were packed at random and could be any of the set's 222 cards.[c]

The pack was priced at 1,575 yen.[1]

Expansion Pack

An Expansion Pack[d] contains 10 cards per pack and was 350 yen. A box of 20 packs was priced at 7,000 yen and contained a bonus card at random.[1]
