Ultimia is a dimension hidden beyond a gate in the depths of the Eternity Palace in Tenkai. Before the universe was created, Jashin clashed with Hoshigami to reduce everything in existence to nothingness. Hoshigami, however, awakened to the Great Power, allowing her to triumph over Jashin and seal her within Ultimia.
