Sukeroku
| It has been proposed that this article be merged with Kyouji Kuzunoha. | |
| Reason: Sukeroku is still Kyouji as a person he just posessed a new body and dropped the Kyouji title. Discuss this proposal on the talk page. |

Profile
Sukeroku is a charismatic man who wears Kabuki facial makeup, a purple suit, and a bandana.
The soul inhabiting Sukeroku's body belongs to Kyouji Kuzunoha, a member of the Kuzunoha Clan who had previously possessed the body of Takashi.[1] After the events of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, he continued to swap bodies until he noticed there was a disturbance in Amami City, at which point he assumed the identity of Sukeroku and reconvened with Rei Reiho and the Kuzunoha family.[2] Though he is no longer controlled by his clan, he still maintains a relationship with them.[3]

Game Appearances
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
Sukeroku is first met in the Amami Airport. Initially, he secretly observes the party as they travel through the dungeon, but makes contact after Finnegan's demons are defeated. He compliments them on their battle prowess and briefly asks about their identities because he can tell that they don't belong to either the Kuzunoha or the Phantom Society. Afterwards, he explains that he's searching for his partner Rei Reiho, and when Nemissa asks if she's his lover, he says their relationship is too complicated to explain to kids.[4] After the protagonist receives a call from Spooky, he apologizes for any issues he may have caused and leaves, suggesting that they may meet again in the future.

Sukeroku is later encountered in the warehouse underground Akane Mall. When the protagonist cannot hack into the PC playing the weird song, Sukeroku disables it by destroying it's power source. He reveals that he's also investigating the unknown disease under suspicion that it's being caused by the Phantom Society believing that the cryosleep chamber room hidden within the secret lab could not have been prepared without their resources. He passes along a suggestion from Madam Ginko to shift focus to the computer chip within Amami City PCs in order to find more information. After relaying this information and confirming that there are no more traces of the Phantom Society there, he leaves.
Sukeroku appears in the post-game dungeon Corridor of Time inside of the Room of the Spinning Wheel. He explains it's role as a realm detached from reality intended to test a Summoner's skills. His role is to observe the protagonist's trials.
