Raziel is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Raziel,[a] also known as Gallitsur,[b] is an angel widely mentioned in Jewish Kabbalah, a realm of mysticism and sorcery, and the namesake of the book Sefer Raziel HaMalakh.[c] Raziel, therefore, represents holy mysteries and knowledge, making it a central force in Kabballah. In Bereshit 94 of the Zohar, it is stated that YHWH sent Raziel down to the Garden of Eden to hand Adam the tome. Within the book are 72 branches of wisdom, used to engage the mind towards higher understanding of 620 more.[1] The book itself, however, is attested elsewhere, and a 13th Century Latin translation of the text written by Alfonso X of Castile has been archived, which led to it being translated back into Hebrew as soon as the 19th century.[2] It is said in the Targum that Raziel, on Mt. Horeb, will cry out, its voice being heard all throughout the world.[3] It is said that these calls will contain much of Raziel's knowledge, enriching the education of the masses.

In this book were supernal inscriptions containing the sacred wisdom, and seventy-two branches of wisdom expounded so as to show the formation of six hundred and seventy inscriptions of higher mysteries."

Do not curse the king even in your thought in the secret places of your heart. and do not curse the sage in your bedroom, for the angel Raziel proclaims everyday from heaven upon Mt.
