Philemon is a character in the Persona series. He is majorly featured in Megami Ibunroku Persona and the Persona 2 duology of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.
Profile
After Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Philemon makes no explicit appearances in the Persona franchise. In the Persona 3 and Persona 4 suite of games, it is said that the blue butterfly that appears in the opening of Persona 3 and at the save points in Persona 4 is him in disguise.[1] However, in Persona 5, the blue butterfly seen in the game is revealed to not be him, making it the first time he does not have a presence, cameo or otherwise, in a mainline Persona game.
