This is a list of Downloadable Content Grinding Quests in Shin Megami Tensei IV. These are downloadable Challenge Quests that transport Flynn to an isolated area where he can fight Demons to grind for items that increase Experience Points, Macca, or App Points, depending on the Quest taken.

The Challenge Quests were released for purchase and download as part of several weekly waves of downloadable content for Shin Megami Tensei IV. As of the Nintendo 3DS eShop's closure on March 27, 2023, it is no longer possible to purchase or download any of the game's downloadable content.

As with all other downloadable Challenge Quests, the grinding quests can be accepted immediately after Flynn completes the "To My Fellow Samurai" Main Quest. However, Burroughs will warn Flynn if he attempts a Challenge Quest while not at a sufficient level. These Challenge Quests can be retaken multiple times after completion.

When Flynn accepts a grinding Challenge Quest, he will be transported to an unnamed area resembling Shinjuku East Entrance Main Street where he is greeted by Charon's chaperones, the River Styx Jailers, who inform him that the Demons found within can be grinded for large sums of resources. The accepted Challenge Quest will determine the kinds of resources found: "Experience of the Afterlife" for Grimoires that increase Experience Points, "Money Makes the Underworld Turn" for valuable items that can be sold for Macca, and "Death Has Its Applications" for items that increase App Points. Flynn can return to his previous location anytime by exiting the area through its stairwell or by giving up the Challenge Quest.

The location is the only place in Shin Megami Tensei IV where Mitama can be encountered. Mitama are heavily resistant to all types of damage, including Almighty, and have a high chance of escaping, but will also abundantly drop items corresponding to the Quest's resource when defeated.

The Challenge Quests also each add a downloadable content Demon to the game whose Special Fusion must first be unlocked. In each of the Challenge Quests, an Expanse Inhabitant can be found in the area's main building and will ask Flynn to trade him items found within the area to unlock a Demon's Special Fusion. Trading with the Expanse Inhabitant will also mark the Challenge Quest as complete, though it can still be retaken anytime.

Master Charon is irked by the increased workload. We will show you where you may greatly increase your experience, in hopes that you will train there and be less likely to die. Your reward will be whatever you can take back.

Your reward will be whatever you can earn within this place.
