Luxuror refers to people of a specific social stratum in the world of Shin Megami Tensei IV.
Profile
Luxurors are one of the two main social classes in the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. Serving as the nobility, they are typically more highly educated and wealthy, and do not engage in physical labor. Members of the Monastery, as well as Samurai, are included in this class. Luxurors tend to separate themselves socially and physically from the Casualries, the peasant class. They reside within the Luxuror's Quarter, a district adjacent to Mikado Castle,[1] while Casualries live throughout the surrounding lands.[2]
However, it was originally conceptualized for this to be in reverse, with the city's construction starting at the center of the castle, and buildings becoming newer the farther away they were from the center.[3] However, Kazuma Kaneko opposed this concept.[citation needed]

Shin Megami Tensei IV
As newly chosen Samurai, the party takes orders from several members of the Luxuror class, such as Hugo and Gabby. Many Luxuror characters, such as Navarre, tend to display a disdain for Casualries, who they see as beneath them. However, Jonathan and Isabeau oppose such a worldview, despite being Luxurors themselves.[4]
