Isamu Tanonaka was a Japanese voice actor. He was somewhat famous for having voiced Medama Oyaji in nearly every single adaptation and spin off of GeGeGe no Kitarō until his death in 2010. In the Persona series, he voiced Igor in Persona 3 and Persona 4. Archival recordings of his performance as Igor have been used in later Persona media, such as the anime and newer games.

- The protagonist of Persona 3 is nicknamed Kitaro by Japanese fans due to both his resemblance to Kitaro from GeGeGe no Kitarō due to their bangs hanging over one eye, and Isamu Tanonaka's role as Kitaro's father on GeGeGe no Kitarō.
