Overview

"I Wish My Wallet Would Return" can be accepted after completing "I Wish I Didn't Fear Cats". This quest is part of the Hermit Social Link with the Fox. When the protagonist visits the Fox at Tatsuhime Shrine, it brings him an ema from a woman who lost their wallet in the fog and is going hungry. The protagonist finds the woman near a trash can in the Samegawa Flood Plain where she is trying to find food. He takes a look around and finds a round shaped wallet near the river bank of the Samegawa, but it turns out to not be the woman's wallet. She vaguely recalls that she might have left her wallet near the shrine grounds in the Central Shopping District. The protagonist checks the trees outside of the shrine and finds a square wallet. This turns out to be the woman's wallet, and she reveals that she had a valuable land deed and name seal inside of it. She thanks the protagonist and mentions she will need to thank the shrine too. Upon returning to the fox and reporting back what happened, the fox's bond with the protagonist deepens, and the Hermit Social Link increases to rank 9.
