The seven-star sword (Simplified Chinese: 七星剑, Traditional Chinese: 七星劍, romanized Qīxīng jiàn) is a sword used in Taoist rituals. The seven stars represent the Northern Dipper asterism, equivalent to the Big Dipper of western astronomy.
