PlayStation 3
PlayStation 3 is a home video game console created by Sony Interactive Entertaiment and the successor to the PlayStation 2. It was initially released on November 11, 2006, in Japan, November 17, 2006, in North America, and March 23, 2007, in Europe and Australia.
The PlayStation 3 was the first PlayStation console to make use of Blu-ray discs technology as its primary storage medium. The console introduced PlayStation Network a social gaming service that enabled online gaming, the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and other services.
The first game that Atlus released on PlayStation 3 was Catherine on February 17, 2011. The first Shin Megami Tensei game released on the platform was Persona 4 Arena on July 26, 2012.
