Jimenez sends out a distress signal received by the Red Sprite upon the ship crashing and being attacked by demons. The protagonist and a few other crew members, alongside Commander Gore attempt to save him. In order to reach the stern of the ship, the team had to detonate a C-4 to blow up an ice wall blocking the path. There, Jimenez was being attacked by Orias, whom Gore attempts to fight, but is subsequently killed.
Later, the protagonist and Jimenez return to the vessel to salvage its engine for the Red Sprite. Inside the deck, several corpses of the Blue Jet crew can be seen. Jimenez and the protagonist retrieve the engine, as well as the dying message of the ship's AI assistant Verne.
Following the Red Sprite's crew leaving Sector Antlia, Lorelei takes over the remnants of the Blue Jet. Should they revisit the shipwreck, she can be fought.
