Purpose

Stat table template used to document the stats of bosses in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner.

For the stats of common enemy Demons, use Template:DeSum Enemy Demon Stats instead. For allied Demons, use Template:DeSum Ally Demon Stats.

Usage

Stat tables are used in the Gameplay section on subject pages, or in their respective Gameplay page if available. It can be used with tabs to catalog different stat tables of the subject. Refer to the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on using stat tables and tabs.

Certain columns in the stat table will automatically output certain information depending on the data entered in other columns. For example: The Race entered in race= will automatically fill in the appropriate data in the "Species" and "Alignment" columns.

Parameter Notes
img
Optional; not used when parameter is omitted. By default, the template will automatically add the Demon's sprite as [[File:DeSum SAT {{{PAGENAME}}} Sprite.png]]. The img= parameter inputs a different subject name to call the sprite from. This should be used if the Demon's in-game name differs from the article title, or if the title has a discriminator in it. Be sure to also include SAT or PSP prior to the Demon's name to specify the sprite's version.

If the stat table is to be transcluded onto another page, then the img and name parameters must be used.
name
Optional; not used when parameter is omitted. By default, the template will automatically render the Demon's name the same as the article name. Use the name parameter if the Demon's name differs in-game or if the article title has a discriminator in it.

location
Optional; does not display when parameter is omitted. Displays where the boss can be encountered. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on listing locations.
race, raceredirect
Displays and automatically links to the Demon's Race by name. Race can be viewed in the Demon's status screen or in Analyze.

If the Race has a different name in-game from the article or if the title has a discriminator in it, use raceredirect= to redirect the link to the appropriate Race page or section. The Race name entered in race= will therefore become the link's display name.

The entered Race will also determine which Species and Alignment are displayed in the stat table.
alignment
The Demon's numerical alignment value from 0 to 255. If you do not know the number, then just input "Law", "Neutral", or "Chaos".
resist
In Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, Demons do not have unique resistances but instead a resistance type. There are 95 resistance types. The resist= parameter requires only the resistance spread's ID number, which will automatically display the associated type. This data is stored in Template:Data/Type/DeSum. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on documenting resistances.
moon
In Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, a Demon's damage output is determined by the current Moon Phase. There are 13 Moon Phase Types, which each determine the damage output for each Moon Phase. The moon= parameter requires only the type spread's ID letter, which will automatically fill in the damage outputs for each Moon Phase. See the Moon Phase Type index below for reference.
Basic attack
The hit=, target=, and range= parameters display information about the boss's basic attack. By default, the stat table will render the most common data: 1 hit, single enemy, and front row range. See the Gameplay guidelines for full instruction on formatting basic attack information.
magic, extra
Use Template:Skill to add Magic and Extra Skills. E.g. {{Skill|DeSum|Agi}}. This stat table will display the skill name, attribute, cost, and a translation of the description.

Skill information is called from Module:Data/Skill/desum.
