The Am Fear Liath Mòr, meaning "Big Grey Man" in Scottish Gaelic and also referred to simply as the "Greyman", is a spectre that haunts the mountain of Ben Macdui in Scotland. The Am Fear Liath Mòr is described as a thin man standing over 10 feet with long limbs and dark hair, and it's presence is indicated by thick fog and the sound of footsteps against the mountain's gravel. The creature is rarely seen, only looming in the mist of the mountain, yet inflicts a panic on those in it's presence. Some accounts of the Am Fear Liath Mòr are merely the shadows of those hiking through the mountain against the thick fog, explaining these encounters as examples of the Brocken spectre phenomenon.

Also known as Am Fear Liath Mor, it is a creature that appears in Scotland. Said to be very tall, it appears around Ben MacDhui. It follows mountain climbers, filling them with dread, causing them to run for their lives.
The ringing around Ben MacDhui is said to be its voice.
