David is a Demon in the PlayStation Portable version of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner.

Origin

This David is a Zoma (artificial demon), but its namesake is the Biblical figure David, who, according to the Hebrew Bible and Christian Old Testament, was the second king of Israel, and he established a dynasty that would rule in the southern kingdom of Judah until the Neo-Babylonian conquest of Israel and Judah in 587 BC. David is considered a prophet in Islam and is mentioned several times in the Qur'an.

Design

David reuses the design of the Human Type 2 Zeed from Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.

ダビデの名は第２代イスラエル王の名に由来している。ダビデ王は少年時に巨人兵士ゴリアテを倒した武勇や、古代イスラエルの黄金期を作ったことで知られている。
