Aellopus is a longer form of the name of the harpy Aello used in Apollodorus's retelling of part of Apollonius's Argonautica. While the two harpies are unnamed in Apollonius's original work, Apollodorus identifies them with the two harpies mentioned in Hesiod's Theogony.
