Y-ko serves as the Hermit Social Link for the male protagonist. She is a player of the MMO Devil Busters Online,[1] wherein she uses the alias "Y-ko,"[2] a reference to Yumiko Shirasagi from the Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei series, and she dubs the protagonist "N-jima,"[3] a reference to Akemi Nakajima.[a]

  1. In the localizations of all versions of Persona 3, Devil Busters Online is changed to Innocent Sin Online, a reference to Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Her screen name is changed to "Maya," a reference to Maya Amano, and the protagonist's screen name is changed to Tatsuya, a reference to Tatsuya Suou.
