Konohana Sakuya is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Konohana Sakuya, fully named as Konohanasakuya-hime, is a goddess in Japanese mythology and daughter of Ōyamatsumi renowned as the Blossom Princess. She is the goddess of Mount Fuji and all volcanoes, as well as goddess of cherry blossoms.

One of the Kunitsukami in Japanese mythology. Daughter of Oyamatsumi.
Younger sister of Iwanaga-hime. Her name means "a woman who blooms and flourishes like a cherry blossom." She is considered one of the most beautiful of Japan's myriad gods. She fell in love with Ninigi of the Amatsukami and became his wife. After she became pregnant in just one night, he questioned whether the child was truly his, and therefore godly. As proof that the child was of the Amatsukami, she barricaded herself in a birthing-house and set it on fire, then successfully gave birth. Originally, she is said to have been a god who governed water. However, this legacy of giving birth in a fire earned her regard as the goddess of volcanoes, and she is identified with the volcano spirit Asama no Okami. |
