Zenith is a status effect in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.
Overview
Zenith
Zenith is a special status e 67ffect that increases a unit's Physical accuracy, Physical evasion, Critical hit rate, and chance to inflict status ailments by 20%, while reducing the chance of receiving Critical hits and status ailments by 20%. Zenith cannot be removed by status ailment recovery effects such as Prayer and is unaffected by status ailment prevention effects such as Barrier. If Gloom is applied to a unit affected by Zenith, Zenith is removed instead.
Super Zenith
Super Zenith is a stronger version of Zenith. It increases a unit's Physical accuracy, Physical evasion, Critical hit rate, and chance to inflict status ailments by 25%, while reducing the chance of receiving Critical hits and status ailments by 25%.
Super Zenith follows the same duration and removal rules as Zenith and may be treated as Zenith by certain effects. Effects that remove Zenith are also capable of removing Super Zenith.
Interactions with Gloom
- If Super Gloom is applied to a unit affected by Super Zenith, both effects are removed.
- If Super Zenith is applied to a unit affected by Gloom, Gloom is removed and the unit enters a state of Zenith.
- If Gloom is applied to a unit affected by Super Zenith, Super Zenith is downgraded to Zenith instead of applying Gloom.
- Applying Zenith to a unit already affected by Zenith will not result in Super Zenith.
Duration
When Zenith and Gloom interact, the resulting effect will generally use the longer remaining duration.
For example, if Super Gloom (3 turns) is applied to a unit affected by Zenith (2 turns), the unit will enter a state of Gloom for 3 turns.
An exception occurs when Gloom is applied to a unit affected by Super Zenith. In this case, the resulting Zenith retains the remaining duration of Super Zenith.
