Nomenclature
Yarai-Ku is named after the location with the same name from the original Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, which itself was named after a location near Atlus's office in Shinjuku, Tokyo.[1] Its real-world namesake is presumably Yaraichō, a town in Shinjuku.
