Exp apps on arcanas/races

As stated in the documentation for Template:Infobox Demon, you don't need to put it there if they only ever showed up as one race or one arcana. Billy Mitchell (talk) 23:02, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

Alright I got it, very sorry about that. But question, if that’s the case what about orders? Shouldn’t that rule apply to that as well? Gotcha, I can help with fixing that and undoing my previous error. One more question about the Exp app, is do you if it can be extended to show more games? Because I ran into some issues where it would display less then was in the code (ex: Nekomata’s Beast race only displays to MIP but in the edit page it should go up to SMTTC) is there any way to fix that? Media order: Subseries

Quick notes

Hello there, two quick notes about some common mistakes in some of your recent edits.

The first thing of note is that you should not replace the comma format for Template:Exp App with the pipe format. We are currently trying to phase out the pipe format as the comma format is part of an upgrade to the template that makes it more versatile overall, and we cannot remove all of the old code until there are no pages using the old format.

Second, Persona Q and Persona Q2 come after all Persona 5 sub-series games, except for Persona 5 Dancing, which comes afterwards. The goal is to keep each sub-series with each other. To illustrate:

Hello Mistiryshak, let me address both stuff.

On the first thing, I have been editing on mobile for most of my edits. When I tried using the commas it would break the app and not show the game. This why I kept using the pillars, but I’ll try to use commas again and let you know how that goes.

Secondly I am confused about that. I have been going off of the Main page which list all the P5 spinoffs (except for P5D) after the dancing games and Q labyrinth series. I personally think that the categories on each page should reflect the info on the main page so I disagree with what putting near P5R, though I would be happy to discuss it more with you.

Regarding the first point, that's something I didn't know. If you can show me an example of this happening I can see if it can be fixed.

On the second point, I completely agree that the main page should reflect the correct order. However, what you've brought to my attention is that the order on the main page is incorrect. Hi again!

On the first point, I just edited Talos’ page with commas and it actually worked! I 100% remember previously it not working (it would red text the games when I tried using it as if I misspelled it), but whatever was preventing it before seems to have been fixed since then. So from now on I will use commas over pillars when editing.

On the second point, funnily enough this it’s not the first time that I’ve run into this. The main page used to have soul hackers 2 after the raidou games and followed that, until a different wiki moderator told me not to and I pointed out that Ive just been following the main page. Of that issue was fixed but the page was still incorrect. I suggest that you and/or the rest of the staff go through the entire main page, along with the P5 spinoff games, to make sure everything is how you guys want it be as many new people (including myself) will most likely use it as reference for how to order the games as we aren’t aware of your guys discussions.

Not a problem at all! And yes, main page updates are something we've been discussing but it seems we have to keep a closer eye on how things are ordered right now. My apologies for the confusion! We try to make it something intuitive and update everything whenever we come to a decision but things like this happen when we don't follow through. Gallery Order

Hello! Just letting you know that per the Gallery Order guidelines, the files in a subject's gallery should be ordered by file type before being ordered by series; e.g. for demons, all artwork should be listed first, then their renders, illustrations, and so on. Majin Tensei Blind Thinker rosters

Hello. I really appreciate all the work you've done with adding the missing demon rosters. I do have a bit of critique though regarding the Majin Tensei Blind Thinker roster edits.

On race pages, I do not think it is wise to be adding "Same roster used in Majin Tensei Blind Thinker" to the Majin Tensei sections. There are two reasons for this: One, we cannot guarantee that their rosters are exactly identical between games. The phone games may copy-paste data from the games they are based on, but that does not necessarily mean every bit of data (including demons) are used in the actual game. And two, it is simply better for navigation reasons to give Majin Tensei Blind Thinker its own section anyway regardless if the rosters are identical or not.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate. I was in a little bit of a bind on what to do with Blind Thinker since its practically identical to Majin and the race pages don't tend to carry identical demon rosters (with things like rereleases). But ya it makes sense to have them on different since they're not just the exact same.

For clarification, you only mentioned blind thinker but would you also recommend giving other mobile games their own section even if the rosters are identical? I say this since I did the whole "Same roster used" shtick with MIP and PITH. Starmine (talk) 21:03, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

Regarding mobile games data

Hi there again! :) I've noticed that you've been editing the demon pages for those appearing in SMTifH/DC20XX/SMTTR and SMTPJ and I wanted to let you know that yesterday I shared a spreadsheet on the Discord server that summarizes, in one table, the race and alignment data for those games as well as 20XX alignment data, which is currently

Ideally, I think it should be followed not only to make things easier and add everything at once, since there are around 370 demons across all games, but also to avoid leaving anything behind. I've left a few notes there too.
