Purpose
This template is to be used for non-boss demons. It should be filled out with their data.
Usage
This template is to be used in the ==Gameplay==
section on Demon and Character pages. It can be used with <tabber></tabber>
to catalog different versions of the enemy, including versions from separate ports of the game. Duplicate tables cataloging the version of an enemy from a specific version of the game are not needed if the demon features identical stats and information in another table. The original version of the game is treated as default.

The img=
parameter is used to call the enemy's sprite. In the template's code it's set up as [[File:DeSum {{{img|SAT {{{name|{{PAGENAME}}}}} Sprite.png]]
. This means by default it uses the Saturn version of the sprite with the page name, or, if name=
is set, the demon name (if different).
name=
is for if the name used for this demon is different from the page title, such as if there is a parenthetical disambiguation in the page title.
The race=
parameter is set up so that whatever is typed into it will automatically be a link in the chart. If the demon's race is on a different page like List of Minor Demon Races, you will need to use the raceredirect=
parameter along with race=
in order to link to the proper page.
Alignment and loyalty type are automatically set based on race. If the alignment is wrong, you can set alignment=
to fix it.
In Devil Summoner, demons do not have unique weaknesses. They all pull from a shared pool of preset weakness spreads, here called "Resistance Type". Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner features at least 65 types. The resist=
parameter only requires the number identified the weakness spread used by the demon being cataloged. Each type is associated with its own resistance description. For resistance types, see Template:Data/Type/DeSum.
The drop=
parameter is set up so that whatever is typed into it will automatically be a link in the chart. It should automatically link to the correct page as well. If an enemy does not have a dropped item, omit the parameter entirely. The same goes for mystic=
.
The magic=
and extra=
parameters use Template:Skill for displaying skill information.
