Persona 5: The Phantom X

Takeyuki Kiuchi is a former Minor League baseball player who was expected to advance to the Major Leagues. During a friendly match with elementary school students 10 years ago, Motoha Arai hit a home run off of one of his pitches. He was embarrassed about losing to a little girl on live TV when he was supposed to be a skilled Major League player and fell into a slump. One night while partying at a nightclub, Kiuchi tried to force himself onto a woman while he was drunk. This information was published on the front page of a tabloid, eventually making its way to Kiuchi's manager. He was fired, crushing his dream of playing for a Major League team, but his manager gave him the opportunity to work in sales instead out of sympathy. Kiuchi and his manager went to the media and fabricated a lie that the ball he threw to Arai caused a devastating injury, which he claims is what made him retire. Kiuchi refused to admit to his mistake and instead rationalized that women were the cause for the misery in his life, holding a grudge against Arai and the woman in the nightclub for ruining his career.

During the game's events, Kiuchi is seen violently pushing and shoving women at the train station and becomes known as "Subway Slammer" on the social media website Divine Justice. One day he recognises Motoha Arai, now a high schooler, and plans to get revenge for his embarassment a decade prior. He attempts to shove Arai into the train tracks but misses and strikes Tomoko Noge instead, causing severe injuries to her shoulder. Arai attempts to get him arrested but is unsuccessful due to a lack of evidence or witnesses, which causes Kiuchi to taunt her. Wonder and Lufel decide that he will be their first target, since Lufel is already aware of the existence of his Palace. After the Phantom Thieves defeat Shadow Kiuchi and change his heart, Kiuchi confesses to the police and is taken away.
