Shin Megami Tensei if...: Gakuen no Akuma Tsukai is a manga series adaptation of Shin Megami Tensei if... written and illustrated by Kazuaki Yanagisawa. It was serialized in the Weekly Famicom Tsushin supplement Famicomi from autumn 1994 to the summer of 1995. It was created as part of an effort to deliver game walkthroughs through mediums other than text.[1] It was followed by the sequel series Shin Megami Tensei: Kahn in 1995.
Synopsis
Bullied Ideo Hazama transports his school, Karukozaka High, to the Expanse, where he kills and torments the other students, but Nobu and Yumi are stuck inside and they just want to go home.
Throughout their journey, Nobu and Yumi must fight demons and deal with Otsuki. And along the way they gain Pixie and Angra Mainyu as allies.
Nobu and Yumi confront Hazama, and with the help of Angra Mainyu restraining him, Nobu pierces Hazama through the stomach with a sword, dealing the killing blow.
The school, along with Nobu and Yumi, are transported back to the human world and they head outside as Nobu looks on confidently. There is a closing sentiment that anyone could turn out like Hazama. Then the ending shows a message from Gotou saying society is corrupt and he is using demons to fight against this corruption, setting up Kahn.
