Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army

Raidou XL is brought up repeatedly throughout the narrative of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army prior to their first appearance. Believed to be a demon that possessed the daughters of the Daidouji family when they turned 18, Raidou XL would share information from the future allowing the Daidouji family to develop advanced technology before being killed. This went on for multiple generations until Kaya Daidouji approached her 18th birthday. In preparation for her possession by Raidou XL, Kaya was imprisioned by her father underneath the family mansion only to be freed by her uncle Kiyoshi Daidouji. Fearing her impending fate, Kaya contacted the Narumi Detective Agency, pleading to be killed only to be abducted by multiple Yomi-kugutsu allied with Raidou XL.

When Kaya is next encountered, Raidou XL has successfully taken control of her body though they pretend to be Kaya. After Raidou Kuzunoha XIV rescues her from Munakata and his forces, Raidou XL cuts Kaya's hair short and pretends to be Kaya in order to trick Raidou XIV into leading him to the Irie Fudou, which is required to power the Soulless God Oumagatsu, under the guise of preventing Munukata from claiming it. After Raidou XIV is successful in finding the Irie Fudou, Raidou XL drops the facade and disappears with the crystal.

After Gouto successfully destroys the Satellite Tai-Itsu and de-powers the Soulless God Oumagatsu, Raidou XL emerges from a portal with a an alternate version of Oumagatsu called Yasomagatsu and challenges Raidou XIV to follow them and face them in battle before disappearing. When Raidou XIV pursues them, they arrive in the Akarana Corridor that bridges all of time that was used by Raidou XL to travel back in time. Eventually Raidou XIV confronts Raidou XL at the end of the corridor, where she takes a moment to express her anger at him refusing to let the future change and claiming that he's allowing an authoritarian future without freedom, and how she sought to shape her own fate free from the influence of others. However, Raidou XIV's actions have prevented significant change from occurring, Raidou XL is fated to wander aimlessly through time. Believing they have lost everything, Raidou XL then draws her sword and the they face each other in single combat and demanding that her past counterpart not hold back.

Throughout the battle she claims that the Capitol's destruction is inevitable with her actions being the only path to salvation, with Raidou XIV emerging victorious. Refusing to give up, Raidou XL fuses with the Yasomagatsu in it's battleship form and first attacks Raidou XIV with it's weaponry and her army, and when he successfully defeats the battleship she transforms it into it's Soulless God form and unleashes it's full might against Raidou XIV, but is unable to defeat him. As Yasomagatsu deteriorates into a half destroyed form with Kaya's face bursting out of it, Raidou XL declares that her lifes purpose was to change the future and uses the last of Yasomagatsu's power but is ultimately destroyed by Raidou XIV. With her plan foiled, the section of the Arakama Corridor they are in collapses where she falls through the destruction as a soul desperately clinging to Kaya's unconscious body until Raidou XIV cuts off the arm in Kaya, finally freeing the girl of Raidou XL's influence and leaving XL trapped in the Arakama Corridor forever.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Raidou XL's story is largely the same as the original incarnation of the game, however additional dialog and context has been added. She is explained to be a 16 year old girl forced to served the Millennium Kingdom as a Temple Knight. Her method of travelling through the Akarana Corridor and possession of the Daidouji family is explained as her using several Inugami that, upon consuming her blood, were sent through the Corridor to find her ancestors who she would then transfer her memory onto as the transfer required the host's brain to be similar to the imprinting mind.
