Persona 4 uses a number of real world beverages from the brand Pokka Sapporo:
Products like their mango fruit base can be seen during dinner scenes at the Dojima Residence.
Two of their drinks, Ribbon Citron and Ribbon Napolin, are used as consumable items in-game that can be purchased from vending machines in the Central Shopping District. They are known as TaP Soda and Orange Smash in the English version.
When the protagonist looks in the fridge on May 18th, he finds Pokka Sapporo's Gabunomi Melon Cream Soda. This was localized as melon cream soda in the English version.
There are two scenes where characters eat instant noodles from Maruchan's menzukuri line:
On April 14th, Dojima has chicken with salt and Nanako has chicken with soy sauce.
On June 10th, the protagonist has chicken with salt, Yosuke has miso, Chie has tonkotsu, and Yukiko has chicken with soy sauce.
On May 5th, the protagonist can get Potelong, a snack food made by Morinaga. It is known as Tater Longs in the English version.
In the 2020 Steam release of Golden, the Japanese name was changed to Furaimo Potato.
On June 17th, during the school camping trip, Yosuke steals Kanji's Ototo, a snack similar to Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers made by Morinaga. The shapes are different animals, and Kanji is looking for the rare submarine. In English, it was localized as animal crackers, and Kanji is looking for the rare penguin.
In the 2020 Steam release of Golden, the Japanese name was changed to Suisui Snack in Japanese and the audio was removed.
On July 10th, the protagonist, Yosuke, and Kanji eat vanilla flavored Homerun Bars, an ice cream bar made by Kyodo Dairy. In English, these were localized as Topsicles.
The protagonist can also find a Homerun Bar in the fridge at the Dojima residence. The one in the fridge was not localized as Topsicle.
Atlus partnered with the audio manufacturer Denon and made four pairs of their headphones available in-game as wearable accessories. They are known collectively as the Denon Collaboration Series.
Through a collaboration with the convenience store chain Lawson, Atlus released the Lawson Original DLC with costumes for Yu, Kanami, and Nanako, modeled after the store's uniform. Free codes for the DLC were given out for a limited time at Lawson stores.
