Omagatoki: Adversity is a skill in Shin Megami Tensei V.

Profile

Omagatoki: Adversity is a Magatsuhi Skill used by the Beast race, requiring the Beast Talisman. It gives all allies increased damage and healing based on how much HP they have lost.

In Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the UMA race also uses Omagatoki: Adversity, requiring the UMA Talisman.

Mechanics

Omagatoki: Adversity applies the following multiplier to healing and damage, rounded down and is set to 1 if it would be lower than 1:

For healing, the multiplier is calculated the moment the healing preview for a skill is generated. In the event a Healing skill is used by a unit affected by Omagatoki: Adversity without generating a healing preview (such as by Charm), the most recent multiplier is used. If no preview was ever generated, the default value is 1. Omagatoki: Adversity does not affect healing from items or MP healing.
