Nemea is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

In ancient Greek culture, the Nemean lion was a fearsome monster residing in the land of Nemea, born to Orthrus and raised by Hera. Its gold fur was impervious to human weapons, and its claws could slice through armor. Heracles was ordered by his cousin, King Eurystheus, to slay the lion as the first of his twelve labors. Realizing his weapons had no effect, Heracles trapped the lion in a cave and strangled it to death with his bare hands. Afterwards, Athena suggested he skin the lion's pelt with its own claw.

Design

Nemea is a feline creature with a round head, dark eyes, and bronze fur with a fiery mane. It wears a red gemstone tiara and a sun-shaped tuft on its tail.
