Sofue is a world history teacher at Yasogami High School who loves Egyptian history. She is always seen wearing a Pharaoh headdress and carrying a scepter. Her older brother, Ono, teaches history at Gekkoukan High School.[1][2]

Persona 4
On April 14th, Sofue introduces herself to class 2-2 as a world history teacher and says she finds the subject romantic. The following day, at the school assembly, she briefly introduces the principal. Throughout the year, the protagonist has world history lectures from her where she sometimes asks history questions to make sure him or one of his friends was paying attention. Outside of class, she appears on the 2nd floor of the classroom building at Yasogami High School.
Trivia
- In Japanese, her nickname is Khamen (from Tutan"khamen") and the quests she gives are titled "Khamen's Extracurricular Activities". In the English version of Persona 4, her nickname is Queen Tut.[3]
Nomenclature
Her surname comes from 祖父 sofu ("grandfather") and 江 e ("bay"). Her given name comes from 貴 ki (an honorific affix), 美 mi ("beauty"), and 子 ko ("child").
