The Universal Ruler, known in Chinese as Qiánkūn Chǐ, is a weapon wielded by Randeng Daoren in the classic Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi.

Nomenclature

The correct Sino-Japanese reading of the weapon's name would be Kenkonshaku, however the wrong reading of the final kanji was used when transcribing the name for Megami Ibunroku Persona, rendering it as Kenkonseki.

This mistake has caused the wrong kanji to be used for the game's PSP port. Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikū no Tō Hen, on the other hand, uses the correct kanji.
