Shadow Akashi is a character in Persona 5: The Phantom X.
Profile
Shadow Akashi, also known as Kei Demogorgon Akashi, is the Shadow of Kei Akashi. Like Junya Kaneshiro from Persona 5, and Mariko Hyodo from Persona 5 Strikers, he represents the sin of gluttony.
Gameplay
Akashi first appears as a boss in Katayama's Palace. He will heal himself at the start of each of his turns, using energy from a gauge seen above his health bar. Healing more health requires more energy, and he will continue to heal until the gauge is empty. Once his energy gauge has been reduced to roughly half, the second phase of the battle will begin. Akashi will suddenly become resistant to a random attribute, which can be viewed in the game's analyze menu. If the boss is hit with a skill of this attribute, a small portion of his energy gauge will be restored. The specific attribute will change every time the boss is hit with a skill of any type. After the gauge has been completely emptied, the boss's health can be reduced like normal, and the battle will end when it is reduced to near zero.

Demogorgon (English): Shadow Akashi completely distorted by desire due to a mysterious Shadow. Having lost all sense of self, he can no longer maintain a human form.
Energy Canister (English): A device used by the rampaging Shadow Akashi.
When someone is trapped within it, Akashi will absorb their energy.
Crane (English): A piece of heavy machinery left at the dam. A bulky iron hook dangles from the end of its long crane arm. A strong hit from this could send enemies into a daze.

Shadow Akashi first appears as a mysterious shadow and boss in Katayama's Palace, where he tries to stop the Phantom Thieves. His identity is later deduced to be the shadow of Kei Akashi, and it is revealed that he has control over Shadow Katayama and is the secondary ruler of her Palace.
