The Hero's Mother is a character in Shin Megami Tensei.
Profile
A woman with short black hair, a white button-up shirt, and a white and blue apron skirt. She lives with her son the Hero and their dog Pascal in Kichijoji and is divorced.[1]

After the Hero meets Yuriko inside his dream, he is awoken by the sound of his mother's voice. She scolds him for sleeping so late and describes how the police sirens had kept everyone but him up that night. She wonders a bit about what could have caused so much police activity, but dismisses it and hands the Hero his monthly allowance, then asking him to go buy her some coffee. When the Hero returns to his house his Mother tells him of the news that a girl was murdered in Inogashira Park and remarks how she can't go out without feeling safe anymore. She then reminds him to take Pascal out for a walk and bids him goodnight when he goes to bed. When he wakes up, she once again scolds him for being so late, but then notes that he was calling out the name of the girl next door in his sleep, saying that she was just kidding when she sees him blushing.
An illusion of the Hero's Mother appears during the vision the old man at Inogashira Park gives the Hero, where she will fruitlessly beg for the Hero not to go any further, asking him what she will do if he is gone.
When the Hero returns to his house after Law Hero and Chaos Hero join his party, his mother eerily greets him and demands that he come closer to her. The party notes that something feels wrong with the situation however, and so she gives up on tricking them and reveals that she was actually a demon in disguise; the Hero's real mother was killed and eaten by it while he was away. The demon then attacks and is killed by the party, leaving the Hero to mourn his mother's loss in the aftermath.

Trivia
Her event scene was inspired by Kazunari Suzuki's dream and the legend of Amanojaku.[2]
