The male protagonist hears about about Mutatsu from Yuko Nishiwaki when her Social Link is rank 4 and the female protagonist hears about Mutatsu from Rio Iwasaki starting at Social Link rank 3. After getting rank 3 Courage, both protagonists will be able to enter Club Escapade and talk to Mutatsu. After helping the Club Escapade employee with drink orders, Mutatsu will finally speak to the protagonist. Any responses given during the protagonist's first meeting will result in rank 1.
