Brizo Interactive was a mobile game development studio known in Japan for developing original mobile spin-offs of the Last Bible series, while in Western markets it was best known for its enhanced remakes of Double Dragon for the Zeebo and iOS.
History
Brizo Interactive was founded on January 28, 2003 by former Brezzasoft producer Yosh Jinno following that company’s merger with Sun Amusement.[1] The studio was headquartered in Osaka, Japan.[1] Like Brezzasoft, it employed several former SNK staff members, including The King of Fighters programmer Souta Ichino and sprite artist Hiroto Kittaka.
On December 19, 2012, the company filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations, reporting debts of approximately ¥350 million.[2] Following the closure, Shinyaku Last Bible series director Masaya Ichikawa went on to develop the original mobile role-playing game El of Genesis.
