Attribute Affinity Down

Attribute Affinity Down is a status effect in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.

Overview

Attribute Affinity Down is a special status effect that reduces a demon's affinity toward a specific attribute, making it more vulnerable to attacks of that type. The effect can stack up to 3 levels and is represented by a special icon on affected demons. Depending on the target's current affinity, reductions may downgrade Repel, Absorb, and Null to Resist, Resist to Normal, and Normal to Weak. Affinity cannot be reduced beyond Weak. Attribute Affinity Decrease also interacts directly with Attribute Affinity Reinforcement, removing an equal number of reinforcement layers and being canceled out by newly applied reinforcement. Unlike standard status ailments, it cannot be removed by skills such as Prayer or prevented by Barrier and similar effects.
