Toki is an assassin for the Ring of Gaea, having been secretly trained by members Mii and Kei from a young age. Stoic and aloof, she carries their orders out without fail, much to the detriment of Nanashi and his group as they deal with the Divine Powers. She holds similar values to her fellow Gaeans, believing that the strongest will survive and encouraging her to seek more strength.
Toki wears a black bodysuit with white and off-brown markings, alongside a translucent poncho decorated with the Ring of Gaea's symbol. She dons a matching black and white mask, reminiscent of the appearance of an oni, that make her red eyes stand out. When unmasked, she is revealed to have pale skin and straight black hair that frames her face, giving her a doll-like[1] look. She wields a pair of natas as her choice in weaponry.
Gameplay
Toki specializes in physical attacks that can inflict ailments. She also has the chance to instant kill enemies.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Toki is introduced to Nanashi and his party when Ring of Gaea members Mii and Kei summon them to where the remnants of Yuriko's faction have sheltered themselves after splitting away from those that support Maitreya. She is tasked with leading the group in their infiltration mission into Tsukiji Konganji but in exchange for her services, she can kill Flynn and Maitreya on sight, the choice of the former upsetting members of Nanashi's party. But without other options, they are forced to take her with them. Upon successfully navigating through the underground treasury beneath the temple, Flynn is found, albeit crucified and imprisoned. With one of her targets in sight, she rushes forward to decapitate Flynn, only for Isabeau to parry her attack. She gets into a short scuffle with the rest of the party until the Divine Powers interupt the fight, with Maitreya knocking her unconscious. Once she recovers, she swears revenge against Nanashi then retreats using a smoke bomb to cover her escape.
After the Tokugawa Mandala is activated, she is ordered to approach Nanashi and his party and offer herself as the solution to dealing with the domain. The group reluctantly accept her help once more, relying on her to seal the jars keeping the Tokugawa Mandala in effect. However, each time she goes to seal the jars, she experiences intense surges of emotion, wearing her down and eventually collapsing under stress by the last jar. The fading form of a goddess named Inanna manifests from the remaining Aether and attempts to possess Toki's unconscious body, but is destroyed by Nanashi and his party. She wakes up and thanks them for saving her, just as Maitreya shows up leading to a battle that ends in his defeat. She leaves the party again, although unsettles them with her noticeable change in demeanor.
Toki then reappears before Nanashi and his party again, this time as they try to escape Tsukiji Konganji a second time with an injured Flynn in tow. As Mii and Kei order her to kill Flynn, Toki disobeys then announces she will part ways with the Ring of Gaea and fight at Nanashi's side, citing that the faction does not uphold its beliefs anymore. The Gaeans blocking the exit eventually disperse, letting Toki go on her own but not without insulting her worth due to her decision. Now free from her role as a Gaean hitman, she integrates herself into the party. She also begins to address Nanashi as her "master" and tries to get closer to him, much to Asahi's dismay.

However, after Armageddon occurs and the Cosmic Egg is born, Toki is possessed and used as a vessel by Inanna, revealing that the goddess had not been completely destroyed and was biding her time to take over Toki's body. Inanna twists Toki's feelings for Nanashi to serve as motivation for resurrecting and empowering deceased demons, starting with Maitreya's revival and subsequent transformation into Mitra-Buddha. When the party finds Inanna and engages her in battle, Toki takes control back momentarily, where she admits to being jealous of Asahi's closeness to Nanashi and wishes she could have been in Asahi's position experiencing those things instead. But once Inanna is defeated, she seemingly forgets making this confession and how she called Nanashi "master".
After defeating Mitra-Buddha and witnessing him cling to his strength, Toki realizes that the strength she desires is not one solely based on raw power, but rather to change and open up her heart. With this new resolve, she promises to stay by Nanashi's side, now without the underlying influence of Inanna affecting her outlook.
Bonds Route
If Nanashi chooses to side with his friends and rejects Dagda's plans for him, Toki backs him up in the fight against Dagda alongside the rest of the party. Although the party parts way after defeating Krishna and rescuing Flynn, it reunites, Toki included, to do one last battle to slay YHVH. During the fight, she calls out YHVH on his shallow forgiveness and how it weakens people. Once YHVH is defeated and Tokyo and Mikado can rebuild, she is shown to have gone off on her own to cultivate her new definition of strength.
Massacre Route
If Nanashi chooses to side with Dagda and abandon his humanity and friends, Toki stands against his decision, stating that she cannot follow his will as it clashes with her own desire to exist as a person. Before she dies, she reiterates her desire to stay by his side, but accepts death if it is by his hand.
If she is chosen to be the goddess, she repeats what she says prior to her death and becomes subservient to Nanashi.
