Gryas is a figure who is reincarnated periodically and serves as the king of the Beasts. The inheritor of the title of Gryas is chosen by the Staff of El. Gryas is often depicted as a wielder of Force who appears when the balance between humanity and Beasts is disrupted.

Another Gryas appears in Last Bible Special, this time going solely by the name Gryas rather than using it as a title. This Gryas has taken over the holy city of Jerusalem. He appears as the final boss of the bad ending, urging Mattel to reconsider his actions after informing him of Paragon's deception. If Mattel agrees with Gryas, then they will not fight, and he will instead gift him the Moon Ring.
