The Chaos Hero is the title of a playable character in Shin Megami Tensei. He is a young man who seeks revenge against Ozawa and his gang after being assaulted by them. He accompanies the Hero in combating Tokyo's Demons to grow stronger. True to his namesake, he represents the Chaos Alignment in the game.

Chaos Hero does not have a default name in-game. During development of Shin Megami Tensei, he was called Waruo among the game's staff.[1] In the short stories included in Steven Report I, he was given the name Takeshi.
