Onyankopon, also known as Nyame among other names, is the supreme creator deity of the Akan peoples in West Africa.
Design
Onyankopon was designed by Masayuki Doi for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. He resembled a small bearded human wearing a sun crown and yellow robe, holding a golden staff and with two spider legs. To represent his secretive nature, designer Masayuki Doi states that his true face and eyes are underneath his robes between the two spider legs,[1] suggesting that the head shown is the abdomen of his spider form.
