Cielo is a playable character in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner and Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2. He is a member of the Embryon.
Profile
Cielo is a cheerful, clownish combatant in the Embryon tribe. When he awakens to his Atma, he becomes significantly more playful and friendly. In the English dub, he speaks with a distinctive caricature of a Jamaican accent.
In terms of physical appearance, Cielo has long blue hair tied in thick braids, and matching blue eyes. He is short and a little stocky. His Atma Brand is called the Rainbow Arch, depicted as a wispy, cloudlike creature with a single line of jagged teeth, crowned by three round arches that suggest the shape of a rainbow. His Atma Avatar itself, Dyaus, is a winged blue creature with a parrot-like, white head, clawed talon feet, and a rainbow pattern across its elongated thighs.
Gameplay
Cielo's demon form is the electricity-aligned Dyaus.[1] Dyaus can also fly.

Trivia
- After his Atma awakens, Cielo is described as being upbeat and easygoing. [1]
- Cielo's demon form, Dyaus, is known as Tyr in Norse mythology, and is commonly associated with the sun.[1] More accurately, the names of Dyaus and Týr stem from a common Indo-European root, *Dyēus.
- In Persona 3, the Yotsuya Cider consumable item was localized in English as Cielo Mist, a combination of Cielo's name and the drink Sierra Mist.
