Namco Limited was a company known for developing and publishing video games, most famously developing and releasing the game Pac-Man in 1980. With regard to the Megami Tensei franchise, Namco was the publisher of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei and Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II, which it did under the subsidiary Namcot, which was responsible for publishing games on home consoles.
